As we approach the 20th anniversary of John Bassette's passing we will be re releasing the tribute album that was recorded and released following his leaving death in 2006.
Made possible though the cooperation and support of Akron Promise, a non profit organization that focuses on wraparound services and yearly scholarships for Akron Public Schools, in particular students in the Garfield/Kenmore school cluster. The proceeds from both the concert and any music sales, CD or Downloads will provide the seed money for establishing the annual John Bassette/Akron Promise Music Scholarship. John would love that!
The evening will feature many of NEO's best and favorite songwriter/singers, each performing one of their own and one of John's songs.
