The Baker’s Basement
Cleveland alternative folk duo the Baker’s Basement (tBB) features the eclectic musical stylings of vocalist/drummer Kate Dedinsky and vocalist/guitarist Adam Grindler. At their rhythmic core pulses an orange striped, homemade, bucket-drum concoction, the funky back beat on which Dedinsky performs standing up with both swagger and sway. The duo’s intimate sound, rooted in a whimsical flavor of indie folk music and topped with playful vocal layers often volleyed to-and-fro across the stage, offers a humorous yet heart-wrenching sonic signature that’s altogether their own.

Akron DIY artist Lilac Heart captivates audiences with a unique blend of hyperpop, Midwest emo, and electronic genres, drawing inspiration from electronica, future bass, IDM, and breakcore. Infused with fantasy and nature aesthetics reminiscent of games like The Legend of Zelda, Lilac Heart's music transports listeners through surreal soundscapes intertwined with heartfelt lyrics and fantasy-themed imagery. Active since 2018 under various monikers, Lilac Heart's live performances feature the dynamic presence of drummer Joe Zilka, whose background in extreme metal adds an electrifying edge. With a custom lighting rig and adorned in knight gauntlets, Lilac Heart's stage presence is as immersive as their music, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences.
