Featuring Hunter Skeens on Flat-picking guitar and Vocals. Hunter has proven to be a refreshing, yet formidable-force emerging from the doldrums of modern guitar picking. He offers both blazing speeds and insightful strumming paired with amazingly soulful vocals.
With DJ Buell filling the roll of Banjo extraordinaire, bringing his masterful and tasty flavor of that melodically cutting-twang, that we have come to know and love!
Andy Pastor on fiddle will get your attention with his upbeat, crowd pleasing playing, blending sounds from country, rock, and Irish music, adding to the “grassed up” unique sound of the group.
And rounding out the bottom end is John Feist on bass, anchoring down that toe-tapping thump, that moves all in earshot, and possibly the neighbors.
Together this group will make you smile, will make you laugh, tug on your heartstrings, and generally take you on our emotional ride from start to finish, leaving audiences everywhere wanting more!

K&A BAND
Kayla, and her brother Alonzo, started playing and singing music in church at a young age. About the ages of 8 and 6, they started performing music publicly. Both have won multiple talent contests in Wadsworth and Lorain, OH. About the ages of 9&7, their music was highly influenced by regular trips to play bluegrass music.The band had a busy summer in 2022; playing open mics, restaurants, private parties, farmers market, radio, & county fairs.
The K&A Band is excited to be invited to share their music at the Rialto, especially in direct support of the super-talented Hunter Skeens and the Forerunners.
