Come and join the Rubber City Ukes, comprising local ukulele enthusiasts and lovers of music. We also invite community members to bring their ukes to play along, and we will be handing out songbooks so the audience may sing along.
Songs will include "Come on Up to the House," "L-O-V-E," "Hanalei Moon," "Stand By Me" and "This Land is Your Land," among others.
Our mission: Uniting ukulele players of all ages and skill levels to enjoy this small but mighty instrument through open jams, sing-alongs and all other manner of cool events. We're all about having fun and bringing people together. Though we're based in Akron, we welcome anyone from surrounding areas who'd like to participate.
